Center City Rush Hour - Philadelphia - January 29, 2008

Shot on a rainy Winter day in 2008, 15 years ago today. I obviously manipulated the heck out of it. It’s a combination of HDR, motion blur and partial black & white conversion. With today’s tools, it’s easy to get carried away…Here is the original photograph (on right)

Let me know what you think.

I love it! I like the blue along with the black and white. I tend to lean towards black and white over color, well depending on the picture.

Gosh David, that is phenomenal work! What a stark contrast from the original photo to the photo you changed. Thanks for sharing with me.

Classic. This is like a perfect, crisp piece of “Pop Art” — you don’t see a lot of works get this effect outside of Rauschenberg and Warhol.

Wonderful photo. I like how you captured the line detail of City Hall and the surrounding buildings. Excellent.
