I really enjoy doing tabletop photography. It gives me a chance to really get creative with subject matter and have a little fun. A lot of my tabletop work involves small objects, like this one.

I shot this three years ago, on this date. The fellow on the left is my grandson, Cian. He was four.

I have had requests for more people pictures. Here’s one I shot on this date, three years ago.

This enterprising young man provides a valuable service and makes a few bucks besides. He travels around Coronado Island, separates the trash from the recyclables and sells the recycling. His name is Hope and he is good at his job… Aluminum cans are the best, $1.50 for two pounds!

I shot this photograph five years ago today.

Here is another one.

The graphic shapes, colors and textures of this image attracted my eye. I decided to enhance these qualities with a mosaic effect.

I shot the photograph in 2008, but did the effect last year.

It’s amazing what you can see in a parking lot, if you take the time to look. I think this is the seed pod of a Dandelion, or a relative.
